Starks 04/02/22 2:12:32 PM #54:	I have a 2018 CR-V EX AWD and I'm telling you not to get one. The turbo engine and continuous transmission are overrated but get the job done. Same driver assist tech since 2015 and 2017. Go to your bank for a car loan first but don't complete it. You have something like 60 or so days to finalize it. Then use that letter as leverage at the dealers to get a better deal. If you make a huge down-payment, negotiate down, and then pay it off in a month you can save a couple hundred bucks. The Interest that accumulates that first month wont really put a huge dent in your savings. If you go in willing to finance a portion of the car's price, they'll be more likely to negotiate. That being said, right now is an awful time to try to buy a car because of supply chain shortages so you'll be hard-pressed to talk anyone down on prices since the next person is more than willing to pay that price and take a 15% APR.
