Anyways, I finished part four last night. I found it interesting that the main villain of parts 3&4 had a time manipulation ability for their stand.

Watched a few episode of Golden Wind, and the art style looks like a good hybrid of the previous seasons. Also how can Gio be Dio's son? Pretty sure having your head on someone won't pass on your genes. That feels like some Metal Gear logic for genetics. I just finished the boat episode, and still enjoying it more than I did Part 3.

He's referring to Scotty. Also just a forewarning that Gio is the worst Jojo although his badass theme kind of makes up for it in the anime so don't have any high expectations for him. Part 5 is a lot better with that in mind.

I feel bad but like... I'm not crazy about Part 6 so far, as an anime watcher. I just finished the first batch. I don't want another globetrotting adventure per se, but the prison setting is getting old.

Without spoiling anything big, does it just stay in the prison the entire time? I already got spoiled on how it ends, but I'm hoping they eventually end up getting out of the prison at some point...

They eventually get out of the prison and it turns into a non-stop crazy train culminating in one of the best finales in anime.

But that's just like, my opinion, man, so don't let me overhype it for you.

I do agree though in that I'm kinda meh on the majority of the prison setting. Araki tried something new but I think they stayed there way too long.
