Because the production of testosterone causes androgenisation in almost all human beings (literally "male making"), and the secondary sex characteristics that develop as a result of androgenisation cause greater bone density, larger skeletal structure, longer levers, greater muscle size, organ size, increased muscle fibres, greater Vo2 max, etc. etc. Strength is a function of all of these things, having more of them means more strength, all else being equal. --- CE's Resident Scotsman. http://i.imgur.com/ILz2ZbV.jpg ...
