Her back hurts and she's been off work and bedridden with pain for nearly a month now.

She's turning 30 this week and want to do something special, but she can barely get out of bed so idk what.

Arent you the same guy who was making tons of money a decade ago with a Craigslist algorithm? Surely with all the money you have accumulated, you can think of something nice with your massive wealth.

She went to the doctor, its taking forever to get an mri insurance authorization now. She keeps calling in. Tried a chiropractor but not helping.

Yeah if she's that sick can't you just pay for her bills? You have been together for years at this point. Why wait for authorization from a company if you're as wealthy as you say?

Overlooking the difficulty in "being a country" and the fact countries don't need to see doctors, somehow I doubt the standard of care in undeveloped (and many developing) nations stacks up, even assuming those nations have universal healthcare (which not all of them do)

Waiting lists are very long over here on the NHS. Not a surprise but even seeing a doctor face to face is hard. I don't know what to suggest about this condition Blu. I hope she finds something that can help while she waits for medical attention.

Jen it's weird to make this about income, especially when I only make like 90th percentile which isn't anything crazy unusual.

But honestly never thought of going outside insurance. Good idea, but it's at a point it can be approved any day and she keeps calling the clinic she went to back and keeps being unable to contact anyone. She just needs to get in contact and ask the status and all that.

You should pray with her.

Pretty much just heating pads. Tried a tens unit and I got her a theragun, but both very temporary relief. The pain is getting worse but she's better at knowing to avoid, but she's been in bed ever since we got back from our hawaii trip. Physical stressed triggered a long-forming issue of bad disk pinching a nerve. Probably needs one of those shots that are like surgeries.

If it's a herniated disk, the insurance company will do everything they can to stretch things out as long as they can. I had one in my neck that was rendering my right arm nearly useless and the doctor said I needed surgery as soon as possible before the nerves were damaged permanently. The insurance company said "Not so fast! We are legally allowed to take up to 30 days to make a decision!" and they took every single second of that 30 days.
