Goddam $2100 for a build with a 6700 XT. Fuck the times we live in. If you got the money then sure looks good. I don't think we'll ever go back to when something like that would be no more than $1500. ... Copied to Clipboard!

can't nitpick it much, that's a better computer in every way than I've ever used and for a relatively good price. don't let Ogurisama see it though, he paid well over double for something similar. --- The truth basks in scrutiny. http://i.imgur.com/GMouTGs.jpg http://projecteuler.net/profile/Sahuagin.png ... Wouldn't recommend building a pc right now. Certain key components like GPUs are marked up so heavily that you're not saving money compared to getting something already assembled. Better to buy a system with a powerful GPU + CPU and then install extras like more RAM or a bigger hard drive yourself. --- And with that...pow! I'm gone! ... Copied to Clipboard!

I just don't think those costs are going to go down soon and if I have the budget I have the budget at this point I'd like advice on what I've assembled so far instead of discussing the cost so much itself. If you have something that is like a different brand or I need a different kind of something, suggestions and explanations are definitely welcome ... Copied to Clipboard!

~$2k is on the high-end of normal and considering what you're getting I sure don't think that's too much. honestly that's the best value I've ever seen performance VS dollars. (but I haven't bought a new PC in almost 10 years now either...) Jen0125 posted... I'd like advice on what I've assembled so far instead of discussing the cost so much itself. What are you using it for? What are you aiming for? If solely for gaming, and in this instance here, you can make a better PC but putting less budget into the cpu/cpu cooler, and ssd and putting more into the gpu. If you want to stick with Intel, 12600k is more than suffice for gaming. SSD performance doesn't really matter unless you're moving big files every single day. Liquid coolers are a meme, and their value is in looking cool compared to air cooling. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4DKLA7w9eeA There are some good value TLC SSDs at ~$80-100/tb. --- Your palace may last forever, but my yurt can go anywhere. ...
