  1. haven't played a Far Cry game since Blood Dragon.
  2. saw Far Cry 6 was free to play this weekend and decided to give it a shot
  3. installed uplay and the game
  4. started playing it
  5. few minutes into it, get a message that the connection to ubisoft servers was lost and I had to wait for it to come back in order to keep playing
  6. alt-tabbed out of the game to see if my internet was down, it wasn't
  7. quit the game
  8. uninstalled the game
  9. uninstalled uplay

My mom thinks that I could go to college AND get a job from it (ESL teacher) but she owns no stock in Ubisoft

Wonder who is suddenly super interested in this endeavor

Even divorced from their shitty online "services," the abhorrent way they run business, and the criminal behavior they sweep under the rug, I STILL couldn't stomach their games.

They've spent 10 years shaving away the edges of their games into one giant cookie-cutter, homogenous blob. I've skipped the last 5 years of their releases, and I barely feel like I've missed anything.
