"Game" isn't an acronym in this case.

If it were an acronym, it would most likely be pronounced like the word normally is regardless of which pronunciations the constituent words would normally use. It wouldn't be pronounced like "jam" if it stood for "Giraffe Accessory Manufacturing Enterprises."
