If it is what I'm thinking of, I totally cheesed it. Came at them from the grace in back, and was able to aggro/kill one of them before the other knew I was there.

If you understand how horse combat worked in ancient times it makes complete logical sense. The horse is a tool to keep you out of danger, so you should be making wide sweeping arcs toward the enemy to hit them a couple times then dipping out before they have an opportunity to retaliate. Certain weapons are far better on horseback than others, halberds and other polearms are fucking amazing, something like a normal sword would be a last resort.

Do you even have to fight any of them on horseback? Because I havent, and even ones like Tree Sentinel that might have been intended to be fought that way are completely doable on foot.
