I did this once in school by writing a note asking a girl out and trying to fake someone else's handwriting, then putting it in her locker and pretending that someone else had done it on my behalf.

It, uh, wasn't a particularly good plan.

Not weird. Three serious girlfriends and my wife all had boyfriends when I asked them out. I mean, damn, it ain't like they were married.

If you're asking out a single girl, that's 20 guys you gotta compete with. If you ask out a woman who's taken, that's just one guy you gotta be better than.
