I dont know what to expect/think right now. Ive been doing some traveling lately to get to my parents house to hang here for a couple months and help them with projects. Stopped and hung out in Anchorage for a couple days to do some shopping and hang out with some of my friends/family members and finally got to my parents tonight.

Anyways on my last full day in town, I was going to do the shopping asked this girl that Ive known and been friends with for a few years if she wanted to ride around and help me out. Pick her up, we knock out the shopping. So I take her out to some lunch and buy her a pack of cigs because shes been flat broke for quite a while and has been staying with whatever guy will keep around for a while for shelter I guess (even tho she has a place with a roomate somewhere thats never there). She says she doesnt want to be alone soo..

After shopping I go to her place and put some of the foods I bought in to her freezer/fridge and she takes a shower/waxing/whatever and takes a couple hours. After she gets out she tries to make a couple obvious moves on me,,, Shes 21 im 28. I mean,,, I kind of wanted to but it didnt feel right so I gave her a big hug and talk to her a bit.

Next her boyfriend calls and says hes coming over to pick her up again (bc I picked her up from his place) she gets all bipolar, one minute acting scared, saying he might beat on her, and hes mentally abusive/controlling to the next minute saying she likes him in alot of different ways. I tell her she should break up with him and I can drive her around a bit. She refuses

He comes by picks her up and she gets all weird physical with me in front of him, starts kissing my hand repeatedly and saying she loves me and to text her. It was awkward as hell and im trying to leave. i see her boyfriend, dude looks like bad news trouble, hes got a fucking tear drop tattoo, colored frizzy hair and looks like hes spent alot of time in jail. Horrible vibes from him but than I get out of there.

Alright look Im not the fastest typer on my phone so Im gonna do a second post to keep explaining. I believe the cops are gonna call me once they complete the wellness check hopefully so Im still waiting on that

I hang around town for about 2 more hours after that, see one more relative and go to the gas station to fill up because Im going on a 3 and a half hour car ride to the airport I need to take in another town. Do the drive, check into a hotel at like 1 am and pass tf out bc im tired as hell now and gotta wake up at 7 for my flight.

at 3:30 she calls me multiple times and keeps hanging up, i hear noises but idk what the fuck it is. Like the 5th call she finally starts communicating and shes yelling manically (she sounds incredibly drunk) can you please pick me up said that like 6 times. Im telling her I cant its 3 in the morning and I got a flight this mornings. Than I hear her yelling at him your evil about 7 more times. I hear the dude in the back telling her to calm down.. I dont know what the fuck to think. I ask her to calm down and told her id get a lyft for her. She refuses and hangs up. She calls like 4-5 more times and it was essentially a repeat of that same conversation. Sounds like a bad situation but i cant pick her up, im a fucking long ways away, and she refuses the lyft each time. Finally she hangs up on me, and I fall back asleep hoping everything will be alright.

Now I havent heard from her since. She wont respond via message or my calls or anything. And Im worried as fuck now. Like it took this whole day of me msging her, ive sent like 30 msgs and tried calling like 10 times. Every hour she didnt respond started to make my worried for her amplify to the point where I am fucking shook. I have mad anxiety rn and im so fucking scared what could have happened to her

Yes, I sent the cops to his address. Well Im sure its the right one i never did see her leave the exact building, its just what she gave me directions for so I could get pick her up that time earlier in the day.

Also I believe that dudes mom was there, IIRC the girl Im taking about said he lives with his mom.. and I did hear another older womans voice yell something inaudible during one of those 3 am calls

You can't help people who don't want to help themselves. I know that it sounds harsh but don't ever get in the middle of a domestic situation. Many times the victim would turn on the helper.

Sounds like your lady friend has a drug problem. I'm very familiar with that kind of panic and back-and-forth "I hate you, don't leave me" thinking.

Definitely cut ties and never look back.

Tbh I dont think she does meth even though from this story thats what it %100 sounds like. I think she was just fucking snockered from alcohol during those 3 am calls, and she had already drank a bit before she hopped in the shower from earlier. I think shes just a bit fucked in the head in general..

She texted just now, said her phone battery was dead bc she forgot her charger and asked me to promise to not call the cops for a wellness check on her again.

You are a good person. Keep being a good person, but just make sure you protect yourself too.

This could have been a setup to being mugged, especially if she refused a Lyft ride. Just seems sketchy.

Now that you know shes okay, cut her off completely. She sounds exactly like the last girl I dated. These people arent worth having around in your life because all theyre going to do is give you trouble and cause drama.

I'd like to echo the sentiment that you need to cut this woman off. When people have serious mental health or drug issues, they are in the realm of needing professional care. You can't save them; only they can do that for themselves by getting help. You can't make them get help, and you can't solve the drama they create for themselves either. And there will always be more drama.

In addition to being pointless, here are a few things that might happen if you keep sticking your neck out:

1. Girl ends up with physical injuries. You get blamed and both her and the boyfriend agree it was you. Enjoy your domestic violence charge.
2. Girl claims she was raped, but insists it was you to protect her boyfriend and their relationship. Enjoy your sexual assault charge.
3. Girl eventually needs a place to stay to get away from her boyfriend. She brings drugs without you knowing, and the cops later show up. Enjoy your felony drug charge.
4. Girl eventually needs a place to stay to get away from her boyfriend. Boyfriend comes looking and beats the shit out of you. Enjoy your stay in the hospital and possible involvement from the police if charges get filed and they agree on a story where you aren't the injured party.
