Guilty Gear has had queer and gender-queer characters since ever, but this one looks cool too, like every other Guilty Gear character they are all awesome. And I've seen some Guilty Gear characters in my day you can believe me.

Definitely looks like a character I'd play. They have at least 4 LGBTQ characters as is.

...sie/ihnen I'd assume? Seeing as it's not a gendered third person plural it works.

For articles I would use der, it works as masculine in Nominativ and feminine in Dativ. If I ever had to.

Not that I know of. Honestly they might be one of the first NB video game characters. Any list I can find are from stuff far more recent than the original GG.

I preferred when Testament was an effeminate, gothic guy. His androgynous style of dress worked for him.

Testament was one of my favorite characters to use, glad he's coming back.

Honestly thought they literally forgot about Testament.

Outside of Guilty Gear, Poison from Final Fight/Street Fighter kinda is, but it's complicated. She was a cis female enemy, but they called her a he in the US manual because hitting women wasn't allowed in the localization (as if hitting a trans person would make it better), and Capcom's gone back and forth over her gender in the years since

I think this was officially retconned. Poison was originally female but in the west the censorship was to make her trans because they were concerned about violence against women and this was clearly better /s

After the win quote controversy I think they decided to just make her trans for real.

Researching into it post SFV it seems like Seth, as an AI, believes their gender irrelevant. Seth was referred to as he/him because the first we saw Seth was in a masculine body, and nobody really had any questions after that.

To that end, Seth is similar to Twelve and Eleven.

New design sucks. Testament was alright before. Hope Arcsys isn't making changes to the GG series mainly for pandering.

That's nice but Guilty Gear is lame compared to most other fighting game franchises.

They changed practically everyone's design. This is arguably one of the least tampered with ones.

I mean look at Potemkin.

I was wondering when they would bring Testament back. I dont remember him being such a dandy though. I assume the line about how he used to carry himself like some kind of demon is about the change in personality.
