My girlfriend, a couple of old friends, a couple of colleagues, a couple of people from krav maga. Plenty of options depending on what the problem is.

My mom. That's pretty much it.

Yeah. And we talk personal so much it's pretty much just casual conversation. Which is what I like. If someone gets emotional when I tell them something, I want to get the fuck out.

Yeah but I don't often need to confide. It's nice to know you have it though if shit hits the fan.

I think I saw something describing loneliness as mainly not having this. Having something on your mind or some issue following you around or tainting your interests and not being able to talk about it.

Yeah, that was the first time I ever tried a hallucinogen, I had a guide/sitter but I escaped lol

My fiance and my mom. I know that might seem sad, but their both very understanding with very good advice. They kind of contradict eachother a lot, but that allows me to listen to both sides and determine what is actually the best course of action; especially considering my way is usually to make rather dark jokes about how to deal with the situations.

It's not about the person you confide in magically digging you out of a hole (though that would be nice). The act of confiding in itself can help you to process difficult decisions and scenarios.

There's a guy in my head I talk to quite frequently, but he's kind of an asshole.

I have one or two, but I don't actually do it. Both because I don't want to burden them with my problems, and because talking never makes me feel better.

Maybe a dozen that I feel close enough with to tell pretty much anything, most of whom I talk to everyday.

I had an experience the other day that highlighted how fortunate I am to be able to say that. I was getting my cherry coke zeroes and the woman asked if I needed cigarettes and I told her I had quit and she just spirals from the subject of how she couldnt quit with the lozenges but now shes not gonna quit at all because of the divorce and being forced to move back in with her parents. She just talked for like 6 or 7 entire minutes, and the whole time it was this surreal experience as I realized that this person that I had thought was an older woman was actually younger than me. Really poor communication skills too, interrupted me every single time I tried to speak which isnt always a big deal to me if youve got a lot to say but she started looping after the first two minutes. Shit was sad

I dont talk to anyone about my problems. That isnt because there is no one that would be willing to hear me out. I just dont feel comfortable sharing my problems with other people. They are mine to fix

The only conditions is it doesn't get super political and you don't purposely try to provoke or harass others. You can always just leave whenever you feel like. I ain't gonna feel no way about it.

Not really. A couple say they do and maybe they're somewhat genuine, but I don't see any point in laying all my shit on them when they have their own shit to deal with. Actual therapists never did much for me anyway.
