I mean, $100 just to get a few dozen pulls and not even get what you want.

Because for every 100 or even 1,000 players that spend no money, a whale comes along and spends thousands of dollars on the game.

It's basically the most predatory monetization I've ever seen, barely any different from just wasting money at a casino. Well, at least when you gamble there's a chance to make money.

Remember kids, gambling is good for you.

Same as casinos. They give you $50 free credit to get you in the building. Then you want more.

People will gamble their money away in the stupidest ways possible.

Because people still spend money on them.

All for the rush of finally pulling that one character or item that they want.

The thing that's most scummy about them to me is that the games shut down after a couple of years and the company releases it again reskinned slightly differently and you can spend all that money again to try to get back to where you were.
