What do you mean by "poly" in this context? Non-monogamous?

Are you also non-monogamous with her? Is the non-monogamy a source of any conflict between you two?

We're both non-monogamous, yes, and it's the opposite of a source of conflict. I did have some minor jealousy issues when I was first starting to date her, but that's because I had only been poly a couple years at that point and needed to grow some more. The fact that she's so great at navigating ethical non-monogamy, and isn't territorial or possessive, is just one of the many things I love about her.

I went to an engineering school. None of the four roommates I had over the five years I was there ever even had a girlfriend.

In fact, in that whole time, the most I can recall any of them doing was inviting a girl over to watch Netflix (not even in a meme way, just literally watching a movie), and she didn't come back again.

If I am honest, I was kinda skeptical when I first heard you mention it. But it sounds like it's working out very well for you both. So that's great and I am happy for you.

I'm poly as well and one of my exes is a sex worker. Besides the additional concerns for her safety as well as her doing regular STI tests which she'd tell me about, it wasn't any different than my regular relationships. Not everyone can be monogamous. In my case it's that I can't love bomb just one person, I wanna dote on multiple cuties and just be adored and filled with joy and know that they love me and that I love them. Most of the drama involved is just from random acts of ghosting and people moving in with partners and one doesn't pay rent and suddenly they're both being evicted.

I didn't have a gf at all in college.

Also, they call it class because it's what you do for work... Not to say that having sex is anyone's job I was justing thinking about school and how useless my degree is

While I didnt go through this, cheating is rampant in the dorms on my campus.

This is exactly like my experience
I also sat alone all day posting on the internet while everyone else was getting laid

This is just normal college experience at a party school.

Bulls are for cuckolds, a fetish I do not have. Partners of your partners are called metamours, and currently Im the only one with two partners. Im actually hanging out with them both tonight, were gonna get drunk for Saint Patricks Day/Purim.

Oh okey, usually there has to a favourite though? It just a normal human emotion. I've seen a lot of these poly relationships crash and burn. I think humans are just too selfish and good at fooling themselves for it to work most of the time. After a while the cracks begin to show.

College, adulthood.

No, there doesn't have to be. People are capable of loving more than one person equally, even if you dont understand it. Ive seen a lot of monogamous relationships crash and burn, so Im unsure what your point is there. Poly relationships take work and communication, just like any successful relationship.
