From my home town

In Santa Barbara, the city is close to dubbing its sole Chick-fil-A a "public nuisance" due to long drive-thru lines that often has cars filled with hungry customers backed into the street for hours at a time.

I wish they'd do this for In n Out. this lines always block legit parking spots around me. Im not even trying to go there but i can't park near the place i want because of In n Outs stupid drive thru system.

Absolutely. They know it happens there regularly so they should have an officer go by and ticket everyone who thinks it's ok to block the road like that.

I still don't know why people love Chic-fil-A so much to cause these lines.

We have a fucking Starbucks right next to a Chic-fil-a at my town's busiest intersection/overpass. Lines of basic ass simps at all hours... like wtf,I'm just trying to get shit at Lowes.

I looked it up on the satellite map and the parking lot and drive through line does look undersized for the kind of volume CFA deals with (at least compared to the one near me).

by my friends house theres an in and out and a chik fil a right next to each other. i've seen it actually stop traffic up to the off ramp of the free way a couple blocks away.

You mean there's individuals who stay in line for hours at a time, or that the restaurant has peak hours that results in a constant flow of traffic that lasts hours at a time?

I used to work at a Starbucks right next to a Chik-fil-a that was in the same lot as a Lowes.
Starbuck's drive through was clearly poorly designed. The line always ended up bleeding into the parking lot and causing a jam that would sometimes stretch out into the street.
Chik-fil-a had a better designed drive through. It had two lanes and 2-6 people outside placing orders on ipads, but it was crammed right next to a small patch of ecologically preserved trees or something.
The combination of the two was a fucking nightmare.

Those stupid commercials with that plinky plonky music and people acting like their food is orgasmic beyond belief doesn't help either.

Theyre a redundant nuisance

Their signature sandwich (Which is literally just chicken brined with pickle juice) has been successfully copied and improved upon by other fast food joints.

But if buying a conservative sandwich makes you feel good about yourself more power to you, not my business.

In n out is understandable, cuz its actually unique and tastes great.

Chick-fil-a is decent but not worth the line. Especially with so many fast food places now revamping their chicken sandwiches. Hell even the taco bell fried chicken taco is bomb af.

The sauce is great, but not worth going every day

If that's the case they should increase the size of their parking lot if it's possible.

At my workplace they opened up a Chick Fila and the line just got worst because there's a starbucks literally right next to it. There's barely any parking in their lot and the cars would severely block traffic right up to the intersection. The parking lot (for my work place) is close by and sometimes people would park in my designated spot (it has my name and everything) in there just to go to chick fila or starbucks (it's the two most frequent excuse). I get their car towed, this process takes awhile and every time it gets me late to work. One even threaten to take me to court for doing it. I eventually found a different place to park but Jesus did the combination of Chick Fila and Starbucks makes my mornings a hassle a lot of the times.

You know you're lazy when you'd rather wait an hour for drive thru than get out of the car and spend 5 minutes ordering inside.

Sounds like they should hire more people.

Or set up another Chik-Fil-A.

yea they got the place bc its an old Burger King that went under but they had a drive thru before the moritorium so it was grandfathered in.

obviously not built to handle modern American laziness

I like their chicken sandwiches, they're very good imo

It's like this in the city local to me too. I don't understand it. Their lines block parking lots of other businesses.

I refuse to also believe any fast food is worth those outrageous lines.
