Having a pretty good time so far. I just beat on of the Gaol bosses I forgot what his name was though. He crawled around like a little freak.

  1. I think if a character tells u about a place, they should mark it on your map for you? An npc said something about a castle and I don't know where it is.
  2. Add more save points? I feel like they are so far a part that I die before I can reach the next one.
  3. Remove areas where there are so many enemies you can't do anything? There's this one place where a freak blows his horn and summons all of his butt buddies and there's nothing i can do because my attacks bounce off of them?
  4. Doors that "can't be opened from this side" should be breakable.
  5. Add a retry option to bosses instead of having me walk back. it's obviously what i'm going to do 99% of the time anyway.
These are just minor changes I would like to have added to the game. I'm having fun so far though ^_^

Lots of dialogue and exposition
Microtransactions
A season pass
Fetch quests
A combat system where your attacks almost attach themselves like magnets to nearby enemies
Walking cutscenes where you gallop with npc and they tell you their life story
All name locations and points of interest revealed on the map
And of course, an easy mode!

for #5 the only boss fight where this seems to be an issue is in the black knife catacombs. basically, there is a hidden boss behind a false wall over there with no stake of Marika. to get to that spot is a huge pain. if you ever visited it you'd know why.

NPC's do tell you when they mark something on your map. It should be more clear when they do that though yeah.

Most of the time for a boss you can spawn at a Marika Statue or whatever it's called. Not sure if you need to activate them.

I agree with one of the things that you said TC, but I think site of grace are close enough together most of the time that it's not really a issue considering your horse can quickly help you cover ground and avoid enemies, and most enemies on the world map are easy to avoid and escape already. So you really only need to carefully rush through areas avoiding enemies and hazards if you die in a dungeon. Being able to smash doors would be more realistic but defeats the problem solving aspect of finding a way through or around it. Some bosses do have statues of Marika right before them, so even if you die you don't have to run back from the last site of grace back to the boss and can just respawn there and with all your stuff refeshed too. In all of the other sekisoulsborne games there wasn't a mechanic this convenient.

Season Pass is highly likely in development. We have no dedicated PvP battle arenas and there is a location lore wise was dedicated to this and still can be.

No cost. If you are in range, you automatically qualify to resurrect at a statue (upon death the game gives you an option to respawn at the statue or last grace visited). Besides spotting one, you know a statue is active by its symbol appearing with other status icons below your stamina meter.

He also said that grace will guide the way, and the map shows grace leading in a certain direction

I feel there are too many compared to Dark Souls

I killed all of them without dying

These are just minor changes I would like to have added to the game. I'm having fun so far though ^_^
The walk back is very short

I'm right before Godrick now. I think I failed the quest line with the blind girl b/c I didn't know I was supposed to beat the boss after talking to the dude, oops.

Just kind of wandering around before I fight him, I don't feel ready yet. I could use some upgrades.

Have you considered killing the dude with the horn before he blows it? A difficult concept to grasp, but doable. (The slight condescension in this post is entirely due to your 2008 high schooler usage of butt buddies.)

I just beat Godrick, took me about 10 tries. I get really impatient. I feel like his attacks were so much easier to telegraph than other even regular enemies I've faced lol
