Part of what made Grant likeable to me was that he was a "regular" dude having to protect 2 kids in an insane situation. What's the male lead for a new generation of JP fans? A buff dude that's able to control raptors and rides motorcycles at high speeds through dense jungles. Why the hell should I be concerned for his survival? Personally I think it's stupid and Jurassic Park/World is best when the humans are helpless against the indifferent nature of the dinos. The original was equal parts action and horror. If they made a Jurassic World movie that was pure horror and everybody died gruesome, horrific deaths I would cream my panties.
