Its was good until the ending. The ending is pretty shit.

Fun fact: the last rendition of weight of the world that plays during the credit battle is actually the entire development staff singing.

Same, but didn't bother to finish off a few of the last few achievements. Did the secret boss though at least.

A really great game, and can't wait to see what he does next - even if it's not in the same "universe" or related as the Nier ones were to his previous works.

Achievements. Only ones I had to buy were fishing and the pervy ones. Because I hated fishing, and I didn't do it any more than I had to. Almost everything else pretty much came in the flow of the game.

Little known fact: theres a more recent one that no one gives a fuck about.

If you absolutely need more Yoko Taro, he's involved in those Voice of the Cards games. I played the first one and it's a terrible slog. Yoko Taro did minutes of work writing tragic five sentence backstories for side characters that you have no interest in.

The mobile one had an actual pretty decent story. But the grind was utterly horrendous and I just couldn't keep with it. The grind was obscenely awful.

If I wanted to suffer, I'd play the pre Nier games for the tiny bits of lore they offer and to "see where it all came from" - but I think I'll stick to lore videos instead.
