Rather than a new title every 2-4 years like the earlier days of the fighting game genre, do you prefer having one game that gets supported through the life of the console generation?

Street Fighter came back with 4 for the ps3/360 and SFxT while SF5 was the only entry for the ps4. Tekken 7, Killer Instinct and Smash (for those that acknowledge it) also had one entry for the previous generation consoles. Mortal Kombat and KoF have had multiple titles release for the ps4 though KoF had ps4 ,ps5 and Series X releases for KoF 15.

I hate that old games get shuttered because something new came along. SF4 could've kept going.
