Remember when he challenged people to take a picture of a dead firefly or something like that, and if they did he would stop posting for a whole day.
Someone ended up doing it. This was one of the few instances where I saw him break his gimmick and post like a "normal" person because he was arguing tooth and nails and coming up with a bunch of bogus conditions on why the picture didn't count. All because lord forbid he'd have to stop posting for a day lmao

Does he live somewhere without fireflies and not realize that takes like 2 seconds on a Michigan night? Lol. I remember my cousin coming from Cali and being super excited by fireflies. That's when I realized they weren't everywhere. I've been to Cali multiple times myself, but had never thought about it.

I think it was a little later than that, actually. I wanna say around 2008-2010. I remember that on the board it was common to link news articles you were copying and pasting news from. Then Duckbear started doing that without pasting any links, and people were complaining about that and calling him out on that, being like, "Where's the link?"

And yeah, someone who basically has the mindset of not linking news articles you're copying from because you ARE the news definitely has a huge ego.
