Remember, this is how she was depicted in the book:

My bad, I completely forgot about that.

Not really seeing as Anakin has had more screen time then Vader and pre Vader Anakin has become very popular over the years.

What I'm getting at moreso is that when people refer to Anakin's stint as a villain, they almost exclusively refer to him as Vader.

Similar to how most people wouldn't say Tom Riddle is a "villain" without instead mentioning him by the name Voldemort (even though it's not technically wrong).

Hopefully I'm not too confusing

I would agree, but I think genocide is a special case.
I don't. Too quote an old Kanye lyric "the prettiest people, do the ugliest things".

I always hate it when genocidal characters like Bellatrix or Azula re depicted as beautiful. It's taking the ugliest thing in the world and making it look enticing.

i cant believe im actually seeing someone demand physiognomy in 2022

I pray god will curse the writer, as the writer has cursed the world with this beautiful, stupendous creation, terrible in its simplicity, irresistible in truth

It's more like kink shaming in 2022. I don't like seeing Rule 34 of Nazi characters and I don't like them being the ones we're supposed to gawk at for eye candy.

aren't many serial killers considered attractive to some women? Evil isn't like in fiction. It can look pretty. The concept of all evil people being ugly is from old fashioned fairy tales. Its not reality

Remember how Lavender Brown was cast as a black girl in the early films, then later, when she suddenly became a semi-major character as Ron's gf, she was white?

I don't recall her ever being described in the books, aside from maybe having brown hair.

The big takeaway for this is that most of the casting was pretty dead on.

I think the Weasley twins were supposed to be kind of chubby but I might be misremembering.

But anyway, hot take, the actors appearance is not really the most important part of the casting. When I was a kid I was hot and bothered by black Grover or whatever, now I just don't care as long as the film is good.

Yeah, the only real standouts to me are Neville (who's actor had dark hair and grew rather tall/hunky), and Viktor Krum (who was cast as a beefcake rather than a lanky, gaunt person).

I always imagined Hermione having shorter hair.

Also my mental imagine of Lockhart was basically like Gene Wilder (like in Willy Wonka or Blazing Saddles) since hes kind of a goofy character.

Most of those characters look similar to their movie depictions Tbh

Some obviously look better like Bellatrix or Sirius but that's mostly because they simply look younger
