I was going to say, "This episode feels like the inspiration for Family Guy. The set up sucks, there's no meaningful story, but the gags and one liners are great. The continuity really gives it an edge over Family Guy, too." But, apparently this episode aired on the same date as the first Family Guy episode. I guess the writers had similar ideas of what people wanted.

Next episode is Max FUCKING Power!
  • They directly comment on how often new animated shows get dropped.
  • Whole lot of references and Family Guy-style gags.
  • And is one of the episodes that, despite being good, is a main contributor to Jerkass Homer.
