HeroDelTiempo17 03/29/22 2:36:29 PM #54:	I don't really get it either, but then I'm part of that "young millennial" demo. I think it's relatable to anyone who had to deal with parental expectations. Encanto had a similar type of crossover appeal and I don't think I heard that complaint with that movie. I liked the mom and Miriam's characters more than Mei, and could've done without the whole Tyler's party subplot. Ultimately I think it tried to do too many things in one movie; I wasn't sure when a scene was meant to be serious or lighthearted, and the pacing needed more room to breathe.
