Heath Ledger was a lot like that when he was cast as the Joker.

10 years ago he'd be a perfect casting for Terry McGinnis, so him as best Batman is not that weird.

I've no problem with Pattinson but he's not the best Batman. He's not even top three.

He's a fantastic actor. Plebs only know him from Twilight. His work in Lighthouse was amazing. Very gifted.

He's a really good Batman and I hope if there are sequels that his Bruce Wayne will start to have that Charisma we all know and love. I get that the movie was him in his early years, but I'm just not a fan of Bruce acting the same way Batman acts.

He played a billionaire in Cosmopolis, 10 years ago, so I'd have probably said "wtf? Just because he was in Cosmopolis? Lmao shut up"

To be fair, the movie addresses this. Bruce Wayne is all just an act, a shallow one at that. The real "him" is batman.

I don't think it would be that hard of a sell. The main contenders would be Keaton...and pretty much Keaton.

Nobody goes to bat for Van Kilmer or Clooney. Most people thought Bale was fantastic as Bruce Wayne, but I don't recall many singing his praises as Batman. As long as you could get around the Twilight stigma I think most people would see a case for Pattinson.

Affleck had potential, but the writing for his version has mostly been atrocious

It's really gonna be between Keaton, Bale and Pattinson. And IMO, I think Keaton and Pattinson are a notch above Bale. All great versions though.

everyone overates bale. Guy was barely better than kilmer and clooney. Afleck got screwed. Keaton and west are the best. West was what batman needed to survive that era without him batman may not be around anymore.

ive yet to see the batman, it would be nice to have another top tier batman I hope pattinson is as good as everyone says he is.

He's a phenomenal Batman (and probably the most accurate since he actually adheres to his no killing philosophy 100% and does actual detective work) but don't expect much from his Bruce Wayne since at this point in his career, his Bruce Wayne persona is virtually nonexistent.
