The music was a mixed bag for me. Some songs were good and enhanced the story, like the reprise of Someone to Say. Others felt like they only existed because a musical needs songs, and therefore songs were created to fill out the space. The snobby villain's song is probably the worst offender. Weirdly placed in the narrative, doesn't really flesh out the character, and the character doesn't even need this much focus in the first place. --- The owls are not what they seem. ...
