Any tips for getting a promo? I don't mind the increase if they up my speeds or give me cable (currently don't have it), do I just threaten to cancel or what?

My shit costs 220 bucks for basic cable I use maybe 3 times a year, and internet, with a data cap I can't reach

That's why I don't use them lol. The first year promo was like $30/month and then after 12 months it shoots up to $90/month, and that rate hike is buried in fine print.

you probably were on some promo price. just go online and sign up for another promo for however money months. you dont have to be a new customer.

Very helpful! I actually didn't know this and have played around with the settings

I used to pay $69 for 300 mbps, they upped it to $89 for 400 mbps
I could get 600 mbps for $50 which seems amazing, but I could get that plus 185 channels for $100 (plus the taxes and fee that push it to like $135) which would be helpful for my sports

If they function the same way as Time Warner Spectrum, this is what I have to do as well.

Most cable providers stopped negotiating through retentions now, sadly...
