It's more like "everyone deserves the basic necessities, and needing that to be in exchange for something runs not only counter to progress, but is immoral".

Nevermind that the idea that everyone in society needs to be employed flies in the face of reality. We should stop propping up useless jobs, just because the fulfill the role of the hoops we expect people to jump through.

If you want a minimum "human rights" standard, everyone gets adequate shelter, adequate water, adequate food, adequate sanitation, and adequate healthcare. Pocket money is a redundant luxury after all of those exist.

Deny. Our system is far from perfect but life has always about putting work in simply to survive. The work just shifted from hunting and gathering our own food/resources to selling our labor for credit that allows us to purchase food/resources

I'm fine with helping out someone struggling if they at make attempts at fixing their situation. I'm fine with helping those who simply can't help themselves due to disabilities

Investing is gambling basically. You risk losing money.

So there being a risk I say it's fair. It's not work but it's not free money either. As in it bring easy. If it where everyone would do it

Thought you meant like stock market. Still you mention everyone above poverty. Meaning it still ain't free money. How many people that ain't born rich live off it alone?

You shouldnt have to pay for toilet paper if you cant opt out of shitting, like if you cant change a requirement for being alive you shouldnt be obligated to pay for it but I think the solution is closer to abolish or alter the way that currency is incorporated into civilization than to just give people a payout
