I was talking about this card recently with a friend. Early Magic was fun, wasn't it? I wish I didn't get rid of my early cards. Even the commons are worth good money these days.

I never got deep into Magic but I remember looking through old cards and being wowed at some of them. I remember one where you literally throw the physical card into the air, and whatever cards it lands on are destroyed. Like they sound like something that should've come out of the parody expansions, but no, these were real cards. >_>

I always did like the art on this one though, and was tempted to by a copy from a card shop just for display purposes <_<

You can potentially play all 4 copies of the card in the "real" game, then 3 in each of those 4 subgames, then 2 in each of those 12 subsubgames, and then 1 in each of those 24 subsubsubgames for a total of what I believe is 67 Magic games in 1.

[LFAQs-redacted-quote]

My local card shop banned "Chaos confetti" (based off the card Chaos Orb I think) because people wouldn't clean up the torn bits of cardboard.

On a more humorous note, a friend used "Copy artifact" on Chaos Orb and chose to use a pillow as his token representing the copy. Apparently as long as you could flip it three times before it landed on the table, whatever you used as a token was legal.

Banishing is even worse than discarding

Yeah, but temporarily removing cards to enable abilities (whatever the Yugioh version of hellbent is, I forget) is a lot different than "ehhh, I'll just discard everything". Not saying you can't ever use One with Nothing, but it's often laughed at in the MTG community.
