Ironically the anime kind of benefits from filler in this case, as that famous gag where Krillin fucks up Goku with a rock implies that normal ass shit can affect people if they're not aware/ready. Srk700 03/05/22 11:46:24 PM #34:	Like others have said, skip the the 1st 2 arcs since they're just retreads of the Battle of Gods + Ressurection of Frieza movies, except with shittier animation, and just watch the movies instead. The anime does add some stuff (like the RoF arc having ~~Goten + Trunks show up to see Frieza and Ginyu making a brief return which wasn't in the movie~~), but it's not really worth it when the animation in the show is so awful. Also of note the animation does get better as the series goes on.
