I need to replace my Samsung Galaxy S8 Active

I'd get another but they stopped security updates and my provider says itll stop working in July.

I recently melted the SIM card port so service is intermittent.

This phone was perfect, but I'll be damned if theres no real good replacement

Your not getting a good phone for under 150 fam lol.

You could probably buy a used flagship Android phone from a few years ago for that price. If you get a Pixel it will probably get updates for a while.

You can get an iPhone X for 250 from GameStop.

try finding some trade in deals. I've seen some people get their S22's for basically free through coupons/vouchers+trade in.

I got my S8 Active for $125 two years ago.

Refurbished phones are the way to go, especially if they're built to be rugged

I did find some LG G8X Thinqs with the second screen for $150

I usually wait till my carrier is trying to give away phones that are a few gens behind for like $50. Still rocking my iphone 8.

Before my S8, I got the Essential phone fir $50

That was a hell of a phone and for $50? That was nuts

Wow, that Poco looks really good. If I had to go new, I'd seriously consider it.

However for the same price, I can get an LG wing and all its stupidity for the same price used

I did put in an offer for an LG G8X last night too for $120. It comes with the dual screen case, which just seems quirky enough to try for a year. My job also got less physical so maybe itll last longer than 6mo-12mo

Per experience....Youre better off buying an older good phone than a cheap new phone. They heavily skimp on processing power, camera quality for cheap phones while a samsung 9, pixel 3, iphone x are still comparable to todays models for just 200 or less.

Not really. Modern cheap phones are skimping on the right things in terms of using older gorilla glass, 60 hertz screens locked, plastic instead of metal/glass housing, etc.

What a coincidence. I got my Motorola Z3 for exactly $150 at Target. 70% off clearance down from $500. Best phone I ever used.

I got that Lg G8X with the two screens coming my way. Should be fun. I like how the screens clam shell and give me a DS vibe
