Most dont want to join the military anyway, and the majority of people are not able to join as they probably smoke pot which is still ban in the military.

Honestly if a WW3 happens the US is going to be fucked so hard once all the hardcore soldiers are not there to fight.

Draft dodging in the 60s was bad but if they ever reinstate the draft its going to be insane on the number of people who will avoid it.

It's funny how much the slang term for video games has changed over the decades.
  • In the '80s it was Nintendo
  • In the late '90s it was Play Station
  • In the 2000's it was Xbox
Who knows what it is now I don't hear Boomer slang about video games anymore.

Most of the people i worked with gamed over the weekends. Half of the military is in their early 20s so ofc they game. Heck i got hooked on oldschool runescape to cope with some things while in the military. Was playing it 40 to 50 hours a week on top of 50 to 60 hours of work a week. I took a month leave (was forced to take leave since i had more than 60 days saved and was about to hit the 90 day limit) to get 99 agility, woodcutting, and cooking. I regret that part.

I don't understand this.

Nintendo, as far as I am concerned, started with the NES, which happened when I was a toddler. I am almost 40, and if I was drafted into boot camp, I would already lean heavily as fuck on my age in order to avoid bullshit... but forgetting that, how the fuck would I even end up there in the first place? I could have people close to me literally make up "how he avoids service" bingo cards for fun, and I would get in on that. I have family who are military and ex-military and I respect the fuck out of them for their service, but they would laugh in my face before they'd even consider recommending me to the most basic, no-name generic recruiter.
