Some pre-info: Health-care in Sweden is governed by each of the 21 Regions. It is not a National Government area.

On the screen it says These are your queues, Magdalena Andersson (PM and Socialdemocratic leader). Your health-care queues, the Socialdemocrats health-care queues - Ebba Busch, ChristDem leader

The interviewer asks: But how reasonable is it to say that it is Magdalena Anderssons and the Socialdemocrats fault when the ones who govern health-care at a large extent are Christian Democrats?

You govern over health-care for 8 out of 10 Swedes. Is it not your, Christian Democratic Region politicians who are responsible?

When the ones who govern health-care at a large extent are ChristDem politicians, why arent you having a go at them?

They have an aura of being good at health-care. They talk about it a lot and make it seem like one of their key areas. But it is turning out to be a load of bullshit.

a pretty strong theme in many democracies is people seem to ignore regional elections thus leading turnout to be overall more right leaning than the general populace since urban turnout often tanks.

Your point stand for many countries but it is different here. Regional turnout is lower but only slightly. And our traditional Right have many of their strongholds in the big cities.

What happen in several Regions is that regional parties not found on the national stage siphon voters from the big national parties and often Left-wing voters. Many Regional parties are so called Health-care parties which only focus on health-care. This make it possible for Right-wing parties to form a coalition on the regional level where the Christian Democrats tend to have control over the health-care issues.

Voter turnout in 2018 on National/Regional/Municipal level:

She went onto a long tirade which can be summed up with that Regional politicians arent really in charge, even though they are.
