You want a laptop that does all the stuff you need it to really well, and don't want to deal with crap like "is my Windows updated?" or "do I have the right Drivers installed" then you buy a MacBook. If you want a phone that can mix nicely with all the stuff you want, and you don't need to worry about? you can buy an iPhone. Especially since nowadays, every competing company has just made their stuff more expensive than it needs to be, so there isn't really even much of an Apple tax. If I wanted to get into that ballpark I'd need to be looking at the iPhone 13 Pro Max with a 6.7" screen, which costs $1,099. Chances are I will want to move on with technological innovations in 3 years and buy a new phone at that point, while trading in my previous model.
