Hey CE, I got a new phone because my old one broke. The screen cracked and the touch screen doesn't work. It still turns on, but it looks all scrambled. I bought a mouse and I am able to unlock the phone, but it's too hard to see what's going on and it goes to black after unlocking. It at least allows me to connect it to my laptop to see the files.

I can see my contact folder. Can I just copy and paste it onto my laptop and then connect a new phone to my laptop and paste that folder onto my new phone or will it corrupt something?

Android to Android

Contacts are backed up with your Google account, so once you log back into the new phone, it will automatically be there.

You can also use Dex mode/mirror mode through a variety of different ways to see the screen.
