Because it's the land of conservatives. Those with the uneducated belief that this is how life works. So New Jersey and New York are giving them the chance to make extra moolah. Taking in poop is a way Alabamans can make money. It's an opportunity for them. Maybe with this money their state is getting from this, maybe Alabama could become a rich state as the nation's dumping ground.
