This is my second real vacation ever, and even then the motives arent really vacation. The first real vacation was a trip to Disney World with parents in the 8th grade.

Ive only done like weekend trips to see family or go to NYC or DC and such and never used PTO for them. Im not here for too long though.

Have a job offer and taking the trip to decide on moving or not. Staying in Waikiki since its close to the job. I dont really like crowds or high costs, but do really enjoy water activities and doing things type activities and less seeing things type activities.

Excitement for sure. With the cost of living, moving costs, and less days off (get 38 now, theyre offering 25) Im getting apprehensive about the job, but also kinda hoping I get quickly won over by the location. Well see how it goes!

Turned down a job on Maui some time ago, it just didnt pan out well and I mishandled the situation.

Stay away from the beaches at Waikiki and Ala Moana. Too many tourists.

Hanauma Bay also gets pretty crowded, but it's a pretty nice place for snorkeling and the crowds mostly stick to the shoreline.

The job offer is 200k so I can def afford it and my current job should go up to a bit over that in a year, but also it would be nice just having the extra money in a lower cost area. Especially since I get 8-13 less days off a year out here than in my current job.
