I wish I still had this game. That new Bomb Rush Cyberfunk game has been really making me itching to play JSRF again.

I gave away my Xbox stuff a long, long time ago. Sometimes I wish I didn't.

I always preferred Jet Grind Radio on The Dreamcast.
I forgot why, but I think they made JSRF a bit easier to play.

Also, I always kinda liked that the Dreamcasts analog stick sort of felt like the sprayer of a spray can.

They're almost two entirely different games. And you're right, the original Jet Set Radio is much more challenging and has a much steeper learning curve while Future is more laid back and focuses more on exploration and blasting around the levels. The main reason more people prefer Future is because the controls are so much better. The way I see it, there's a perfect JSR game in there somewhere when you mix elements of the two together.

There was going to be a new one on the Wii a long time ago but Sega shot the idea down.

Here's a cool little proof of concept video that this small game studio made a few years ago for another new iteration. I doubt anything will come of it though.
