My favorite event of the week was the airplane hanger party. Went from 7-2, just a 7 hour music festival surrounded by planes and spaceships.

I was only there for about 3 hours, but wish zi stayed longer. They had this blimp controlled by a drone that dropped NFTs on the crowd every 20 minutes. Some were worth up to 2.7 eth.

The people scrambled for these things like 90s parents trying to nab a Tickle Me Elmo on Black Friday.

I made a couple of these topics while at NFT NYC back in October. They didnt take off like these ones did.

I saw DeadMau while hanging with Logan Paul and that topic only got like 10 replies. I think people just really hate NFTs now its a topical issue and thats why these took off like they did.

When I made the Bieber topic I expected it to die out like my past few topics. I only made it because CE was already making topics organically about the Bieber shooting, even going so far as to comment on the partys exclusivity mentioning Jeff Bezos and stuff. One user said sounds like a helluva party

There were like three of these topics. There was another topic asking what a CE superbowl party would look like and I was likewell, I was at the Bieber thing so Ill show them.

But yall kept replying and asking questions, so I kept answering. Then we got what we got.

I actually thought yall liked that topic, so I made the Cheech & Chong one, I actually figured this vibe was more up yall alley anywaysbut I was wrong. Yall hated that one.

So I did the DeadMau one as it was more in line with the Drake & Bieber party, but yall hated this one too.

I guess one is a change of pace, and anything more is obnoxious? Its whatever. If I do these again Ill just keep em to the crypto board.

The only difference is I actually openly admit to being apart of this community.

In the world of NFTs everyone is apart of a greater online community. Discord groups, TG groups, Reddits, etc. This is how NFTs grow, and DAOs form.

Trying to provide a proof of party to an online community you are apart of is absolutely normal in this space. KYCs, and Poapps are apart of the culture.

In that regard Im actually not ashamed to be apart of GameFaqs. I like it here, and most people I talk to think its pretty cool that I still hang out here.

Heck, I got invited to the Mortal Kombat 11 reveal event back in 2019 because of GameFaqsand some industry connections. But they gave me a VIP pass to represent the GameFaqs MK11 board.

Error helped me pin a topic of myself live-streaming the event, and me just walking throughout the event and mingling with guests.

GameFaqs has its faults, and like everyone else I hate getting suspended, but that doesnt take away from the fact that GameFaqs is cool dudes

I call it that. I get corrected a lot to pronounce it as dead mouse and am not entirely sure why I just cant seem to stop saying Dead Mow

When I did promotional work, it got to a point where even shows I would have normally been stoked about were just work. Still had fun but it wasn't as big of a deal as when seeing shows were a "when I could afford/have the time for it" Another big factor is that when you're working these kinds of things you can't get as fucked up as when you go on your own time.

Thats true, and oftentimes I learn the hard way. I had a very embarrassing incident in Miami last May where I had a very notable YouTube influencers have to carry me into an Uber and make sure I got home okay.

Makes it hard to do business with him because all professionalism is out the window.

I was able to tow the line this week, terrible hangovers, but nothing to impair my functionality.

This is a skill in of itself. There have been a few times Ive gotten too fucked up to functionally work the following day, which always sucks. But some situations requires that you absolutely have to get passed out drunk to maintain the relationshipso learning to work hungover & exhausted is a skill worth developing.

Sometimes it can backfire however, and you get some embarrassing moments. I had a pretty notable YouTube celeb have to carry me out to an Uber once. However, even that just strengthens the bond

Going forward it makes being professional an impossibility though

Nobody replied, and I wanted to edit to clarify that getting shit faced is sometimes part of the job and comes with its own set of challenges.

This is very true. Its certainly fine if going out and partying isnt your thing. The poll clearly shows it isnt, but unfortunately there seems to be a lot of people on GameFaqs who simply think its not possible for someone who posts here to go out and live an exciting life.

Every single thing is obtainable if you put your mind to it. Some people just dont have the desire, because they rather just stay inside and play videogames. There is nothing wrong with that; if thats the lifestyle that makes you happy then so be it. Live your life as you want to live it.

but anything is possible. One isnt chained to a certain lifestyle for the rest of their lives just because thats how one is currently living. Each and ever single person here is capable of achieving their goals and living out their dreams.

Many perhaps already are, the gravity of ones ideal lifestyle fluctuates from person to person. However, for the ones who arentthey most certainly have the potential to do so.

I had some people DM me as a result of this topic, and I gave them some advice, and to the best of my ability, guided them towards the right direction to achieving the goals their wishing to conquer.

A lot of people took this post as a malicious attempt to brag, and Im not going to sit here and say that I had some altruistic purpose for making it or anything. It was just a random thing I did for kicks, with no deeper meaning. But you get out of these things what you put into them. Hopefully, I ended up helping a few folks out.
