Current Events > anyone know if walgreens delivers prescriptions via instacart, doordash, etc?

i've googled the fuck out of this but can't find out how to set this up.

i need my prescription but im at work and cannot leave my post until after the place closes (security guard). is there a way i can have instacart, doordash, grubhub, etc deliver it to my job? it's an emergency. i tried going on several sites. "yes we now deliver!" but no actual way to set it up in the settings. i can just buy food, chips and shit.

has anyone done this?

You can't through those services but some pharmacies can mail stuff to you.

That sounds like it would be a legal nightmare. No, they don't.

I guess I'm conflicted, because a couple sources say that it is possible. Might just be certain pharmacies with certain restrictions maybe? Anyway, I'm going to try to hit up a Walgreens really quick, breaking the rules right now. Anyway, I appreciate your help both of you. I guess it would be kind of weird having someone I'll pick up my prescriptions lol.

I had a couple of these order last pop over a year or so ago, but I havent personally seen them since.

I do DoorDash, yes, I have delivered a prescription within the last few months However, even I'm not sure how you would set up such a delivery. It's a lot to trust someone with plus, the system they have in place, must not be convenient to access. Good luck.

Yeah I think you're right, I was looking all through the settings and I couldn't find anything that allowed me to enable it. Thanks for looking.

Good to know that it's possible. I agree that it's kinda sketchy to do lol. I was kinda desperate, but I ended up just going to Walgreens and having the other guard stay at the post alone. Fuck it. Thanks for the help though.
