It's not just one thing. But increased government deficit spending is definitely a huge factor. It was always anticipated to be paid for through inflation instead of increased tax revenues by everyone who had a clue what they were talking about.

As for interest rate correlation to inflation. lower interests rates means it's cheaper to borrow capital. Cheaper rates on borrowed capital means the economy can expand more rapidly. The trade off of rapid economic expansion can also be (somewhat) equal rate of inflation. Increasing interest rates means the inverse. Increased cost to borrowing capital will slow economic expansion. Slowed economic expansion can also mitigate inflation.

People that work supply chain and logistics realized they get treated like complete shit and are not compensated enough to deal with the bullshit demands of the world's rapidly evolving "need it now" culture.

Logistics and Supply Chains are turning record profits and making steady efforts to make their work environment more appealing to people, but they've burned so many people throughout the years that they're having a hell of a time finding employees

Wait...so

  1. supply chain workers quit cause not paid enough
  2. supply chains get record profit

And now you blame the worker for inflation..... wow
