Ive been extremely careful throughout the pandemic. Wear my mask. Order groceries. I only eat outdoors and wear a mask inside anywhere I go. Social distance from people. Wash my hands constantly.

I had what felt like very a mild cold for a few days. Just some slight congestion. But then I lost my sense of taste and smell on Tuesday. Went to get a PCR test and here it is. Positive. Today Ive had an absolutely horrendous headache. Other than that and some congestion, thats all Ive had for symptoms. Probably have the vaccine and booster to thank for that. No fever, cough or aches. Taste and smell came back already. But this headache is the pits.

Its either from a creepy drunk guy that randomly came up to my face while I was outside a week before my symptoms, or our new nanny who is in her mid 20s and probably goes out and stuff. My daughter had a mild fever and runny nose the day before my symptoms started. And she seems completely fine even though Ive been sick for a week. So part of me wonders if she had it as some point.

I had it. Grandma (91) and mom (stage 4 lung cancer) had it too. But we are boosted and I guess it was omicron so we didn't have it bad. Tbh we were barely sick

I hope it goes smoothly as possible for y'all

Glad you all recovered well! This variant sucks. I havent been sick in over 2 years.

No I vomited in an alley and found a nice dumpster in which to sleep

My kids ended up bringing it home from school earlier this month. Luckily only 2 of the kids got sick (mild cold like symptoms for a day), whereas my wife, youngest son and I were all completely fine.

The worst part about it was the kids having to stay home from school for 2 weeks, and the school updating their policy do drop it to 5 days the day before the kids could go back under the original policy

Mine was so mild, I thought it was just a seasonal cold

wouldn't have even gone and got tested had it not been for my brother coming back with a positive result >_>

this is the likely case if the daughter got sick before you.

hopefully both of you don't suffer from any long covid issues.

Bleh head is still killing me. And now we have no nanny since she needs to isolate until we test negative. My husband is working so instead of resting Im just on baby duty by myself. Slept like shit last night. I just want to rest and I cant.

Day 10 of symptoms and still have a headache but its gotten better. Still feels like sinus pressure constantly. My husband tested positive as well. At this point, my daughter probably has it too but thankfully she has no symptoms and is acting her usually happy self.

Funny enough my 9 month old tested negative. We tested her and my husband on the same day. So either she already cleared it or she never caught it. I like to think me taking both initial doses while pregnant helped pass on the antibodies and protected her.
