Except he isn't.
Nice try, tho

Well. If you read the topic title, and the vast majority of the headlines about this, then youd know.

Nice try, though.

When did I comment on race? Seems to me you're the racist if you're attaching a certain race to my words. Sounds like a you problem
Gotta agree with Pound on this one.

If you hate democracy so much TC maybe you should try tyranny instead. It would be more in line with your reasoning.

Democracy: people vote to decide.
Tyranny: people have no say in the decision.

I'm sure there's some nuance to this whole thing, but it's still a bad look

guys on the radio were talking about this incident this morning. apparently, the "affordable housing" part is only 1.7 acres of the proposed 57 acre project. Chappelle and others are protesting against the entire project, yet every article I've stumbled across paints this as "Dave Chapelle hates affordable housing". if that's accurate, it seems sorta dishonest for the majority of media outlets to be framing this the way they are.

My understanding is that the area is going to be developed either way, this vote was over whether or not to include affordable housing in that development. Since it failed the vote, the originally planned housing will be built there.

seems like that's the case and the radio guys were just pushing their "dOnT tRuSt ThE mEdIa" crap (classic rock station attracts lots of blue collar republicans).

Following the pushback from Chappelle and others, the council voted to revert to an original zoning plan that excluded an affordable housing component, the report said
