My 15 year old main was also banned for drawing some conclusions based on the light punishments these people get, which I wont repeat here obv I suspect the real issue there may be that the moderators know what the real reason is - which honestly, despite my earlier post being an obvious joke, could very well be on the right lines at least in a more-general sense (rather than the exact specifics) - and assume that because they know, even if it's specifically not public info, so does everyone else and thus any alternative theories are "trolling". One tendency that's very noticable is that moderators assume (a) you know everything they know, and (b) their interpretation of what you're thinking is always the correct one. (Indeed, it definitely crosses my mind that outside of GameFAQs moderators, the most common place you would see this kind of logic is in a 5 year old.) Not everything, but a few more moderations, make sense in light of those. Rebel still shouldnt have gotten banned for calling out incompetence. Sure, he can be abrasive at times, but that was still a gross overreaction which is typical for this site. I literally got suspended for saying it wrt to an account and the mod thought I was calling a person it. This site has a severe issue with how it goes about its moderating because its horribly inconsistent and downright terrible. And maybe if the mods/admins didnt want me to guess at what they do and dont support, maybe they shouldnt be waving away literal hate speech and someone being glad that Jews were murdered en masse during the Holocaust. Its an easy slam dunk that he missed and he only has himself to blame.
