In a dialogue with a fictional customer wondering why their account balance was low, JPMorgan Chase suggested customers make coffee at home and said, You dont need a cab, its only three blocks. The tweet was deleted within 30 minutes, as Twitter users pointed out that CEO Jamie Dimon, right, made $31 million last year and the bank got a $25 billion bailout during the 2008 financial crisis.

It is that the bank couldn't manage themselves properly and crashed the economy, but now they are all high and mighty about poor people being irresponsible.

If we assume your hyperbolic idea is reality, 365 X 5 = 1825 per year

Let us assume homecook meal cost like 10 to eat a day and eating out like 20.
So they pay $10 more per day than they would eating at home.
365 x 10 = 3650

You can lift everyone out of poverty by just paying them 5475 more a year?

because I don't drink coffee... or any other hot beverage. Buying iced coffee everyday wouldn't be worth the cost and brewing my own iced coffee seems inconvenient. I just don't like it enough to want to bother with it.

Who cares? It's usually not even the really poor people, but even so, everyone should make enough money where they can afford to be irresponsible with some of their purchases instead of every dollar having to go to something they absolutely need.
