There are a couple things about Ridley that kinda fuck with me. I keep forgetting that even if you're right next to the ledge, down smash covers roll from ledge. Also that up smash hits from behind, I keep landing behind you thinking I'm safe and then I die. Also his up B has more killing power than I would expect, it kills around 80% near the ledge if I'm not mistaken. And since you can do that as a tech chase it's really strong --- (... Btw I really recommend people learn the crouch ledge slip, I was doing it a lot as Falcon tonight. It lets you do edgeguards that aren't possible otherwise. I just watched it. The whole concept of taking turns, I never thought about it like that before. I feel like I was playing most of those situations before without even understanding when I was in advantage or disadvantage. I usually thought I was in advantage whenever my opponent was above me, but the difference between a juggle situation and this is very clear to me now. Or even between this and my opponent being above me on the platform while shielding. I still don't fully understand it because I wouldn't necessarily know what the best option is in all those situations. But just recognizing what the situations are is so incredibly helpful because now I can at least thoughtfully mess around with different options. And obviously there usually is no single best solution anyway, there are often at least a few. --- (... D-Do I really inspire this sort of frothing desire from the female masses?) ... Pokmon Legends is a lot more like a typical Pokmon game than I expected. There is still a good bit to improve upon, but I think it shows a good promise for the future of the series. I've been wanting to get back into Pokemon for awhile but I had wasted my money on Moon a few years ago as I just couldn't get into it. I even bought Let's Go Pikachu but barely touched it. I also heard so many bad things about Sword & Shield that I sorta just ignored them. I enjoyed watching the gen 4 remakes being broken but I don't think I would buy them myself. I hear Legends: Arceus is the most challenging Pokemon game though which does appeal to me --- (... D-Do I really inspire this sort of frothing desire from the female masses?) ... I've been having a lot of fun with the game,. It's the first Pokmon game I've bought in 16 years since the release of diamond. Just 0 motivation to keep playing, a big waste of money. Arceus looks like everything I assumed a console Pokemon game would be, maybe I will get it in the future. --- Hello world! ... Its nice, not amazing, but its closer to what you expect from the current era rather than Sword & Shield. Although, I had not played a new Pokmon game until now since Sun & Moon. I didnt deal with the expanded versions of those and I skipped like the last 3 games.
