I enjoyed it for a couple hours but the gameplay loop gets repetitive and feels really shallow, unless they decide to introduce something new soon. The map design is amateurish and lacks interesting locals. Graphics are pretty unappealing and the whole thing just seems rough around the edges, it really needed more time. At its core its a great concept but the execution just isnt there. That said, if youre really into Pokmon or just like collecting things/completing lists youll probably still get some enjoyment out of it. --- THE SECRETARY OF ABSOLUTE DEFENSE ... I've enjoyed it a lot. I haven't purchased a Pokmon game since Diamond but I'm glad I gave this a go. I wish there was mote interactions with your Pokmon but even so I think it's cute seeing them interact outside their pokeballs. I also like that Pokmon tries to have a living world and trying to make sense of it via the collection aspect. --- Aut viam inveniam aut faciam. Catching Pokemon is much faster and no longer needs all that pomp and circumstance (though it's necessary when it comes to how the game's Pokedex works), battles are smoother and faster as well.
