If it will still sell just as well if you put no effort into it, why bother improving it?

They're controlled by like four companies most of which you pay your Internet bill to every month so they can keep producing trash without consequences. Once you realize that it makes sense.

I'm not sure which one you mean, but as a general rule, the things that are most successful will appeal to everybody and what appeals to everybody will generally be lackluster.

Perhaps their success has made them complacent and less motivated to put as much effort into making their games as they used to.

I know. I had mistakenly used the present-tense form of the word `encourage' instead of the past-tense form. It was an error that had escaped my attention until you quoted my post.
