Why they thought a game about Disney and FF characters fucking about needed an insane overly elaborate cutscene heavy plot, I do not know

Definitely felt like I wasted my time being a fan after finishing KH3.

On the bright side, I can just replay the earlier games whenever I want and try to forget all about it.

At it'\s best, KH3 is an alright game that feels like it's too afraid to hit it's potential and ends too abruptly to ever actually challenge you. That is unless you bought the DLC where the 13+ super bosses challenge you to actually learn how combat works only for you to realize how much potential was truly wasted in 90% of the game.

At worst and marking for spoilers as it's plot talk: With the end of the game rushing the plotlines built over 14+ years since KH2 one after the other in the last half of the game. No stops, no build up, just boom, boom, done. On top of that, using the 'worldline' concept to undo their first failure only for Sora to do nothing to actually change anything made it feel pointless and dramatic for no reason. And that's just some of the problems. For a series that went out of it's way to be very plot heavy and confusing despite it being about Disney clashing with Final Fantasy, the conclusion to it's major plotline felt weak.

It definitely showed that KH3 was suffering from Nomura trying to work on it, FF versus 13 and FF7 remake. I feel like FF7 remake only came out as fine as it did because it was the last project in the set and KH3 was rushed to get to working on it.

I actually just got done doing my first run through plus the remind dlc. Even played melody of memory. I enjoyed it all. Thought Rutger hauer as xehanort was a bad choice. Christopher Lloyd taking over for the remind dlc was a better choice.

If you're gonna go after the ultimate weapon then pimp out your gummiship. Or get the Endymion blueprint from the constellation. You get an orichalcum+ for beating all the gummi bosses.

I have the DMC5 edition of this feeling.
Long wait then it just comes and goes.

It was. My biggest complaint was not being able to go straight up or straight down.

I think generally Disney cares very much about their public image and the people they associate with

Worlds felt lifeless and dead with no exploration, just one long corridor after another.

That was acceptable back in the PS2 days, but they had 10+ years to deliver and they underperformed like a mother fucker.

Still can go back and play/enjoy 1 & 2. No desire to go back to 3.

Also the attractions and making combat segments based around them sucked.
