I lied about my age recently and said I was about to turn 29, and they called me out for being younger than that. I'm about to turn 39

Humble brags are usually a nice, positive feat you accomplished. Lying is just being a shitty person.

I work at a school and we had a sub working. I told them I went to this school when I was younger and they asked me when I graduated, and I told them 2011, 10 years after I really did, and they told me I looked younger than that.

That's an anecdote, not a humble brag

When I went to a youth retreat last year I thought I could get away with being one of them cause I'm 4'11

but then one of the kids asked me how old I was and I told him and he was like wow i thought you were much older

No. But a humble brag would be telling people about a time that others thought you were younger than you are
