I like cats, don't get me wrong. However, the idea that having a pet that literally KNOWS it's superior to you is objectively worse than having a pet that loves you unconditionally.

Cat poop literally has microbes in it that attach to people's brains, turning them into slaves of their cats.

Some years back a cop in newfoundland had to shoot a cat after it had chased a babysitter and child into a bedroom and was attacking the door trying to get in.

I mean I doubt he had to shoot it but they called 911 about the cat while they were locked in a room and the cat went after the cop hard af too when he came in and he shot it...

Also shut up and stuff. Also Walter would break most pits. Obvs not the ones raised by fucking garbage people or bred for fighting... but he laid a smack on a pit or two in his day and nothing came of it.

Birds are mean as fuck though. Not all birds but the scariest pet anyone of any friend i ever had was a parrot name bopi.

It acted so sweet and nice and put of nowhere it went from chilling on your shoulder to literally tearing part of your ear off or trying to take a part off your finger.

I spent hours back in the day using a couch cushion as a shield to bopi landing on me cause you couldn't trust her to not flip a switch out of nowhere.

Also you can't do anything to a bird. A dog attacks imma fight the dog back if I have to.... you can't risk doing anything to a bird cause they're so fragile and then if you hurt it you're gonna feel like shit forever.

Really depends what you're comparing. Compare the average macaw to the average golden retriever, the dog's gonna be nicer. Compare the average cockatiel to the average pitbull, the bird's gonna be (slightly) nicer.

No cause the average behavior of a cocktail is worse than the average pitbull.

The worst possible scenario obviously involves the pitbull but on average the birds is def more likely to be a dick.

Cats are apex in both hunting and cuddles so they win obvi

I found one once walking to work when I was in radio and so I just took it to the station since it was Saturday night and I kept saying I found this Rhodesian Ridgeback on air over and over cause I want to keep it but I couldn't obvs. Dude actually found out about it and came and got her at like 11pm. She was running to the locked front doors before he even knocked.

There is literally no reason a cop would ever have to shoot a house cat

A neighborhood cat knocked the mockingbird nest out of the tree by my front door. I put it back up and placed two babies back in the nest whom I found wandering on the ground still.

Later that day, the cat came back and killed the rest of the baby mockingbirds. Not to eat. Just for fun.
